I'll say something that conservationists will hate. Maybe they're on the short list of animals to be domesticated. If even wild ones are coming inside because they like treats and they like attention... come on, maybe it's just the natural next step that people with lots of land, lots of time, lots of water, and a steady hand start considering the Capybara. The downside is the ecological imbalance for the apex predators, so I dunno. I'm just sayin'.
