  • How you liking those nailbombs? I was thinking of getting one.

  • Hi, right now I've nailbomb bridge and coldsweat neck, they are similar to the original music man pick-ups but with fatter/bigger sound, specially the nailbomb bridge has more mids and more defined bass

In in doubt send an e-mail to Tim, he will be happy to suggest you the right pickup

    Cheers,

    Joe Kataldo

  • why is everyone playing in dropped tuning? this riff could easily be played in standard tuning!

  • You cannot play it in standard tuning, the key is D minor

  • I would love to have the backing track you used in this - Ive been practising a few years but have been focusing on more a Mark Knopfer's 'control' & Sanatana's slow but smooth soulfull licks. (yes i am a metal head at heart - but we all look to different people to inspire us) Ive recently been learning how to pick up my speed (im almost shreding) & this backing would help alot in my progression

  • Sorry man I'm not allowed to release it for free, you can find it on guitarmasterclassDOTnet, but you have to join, if you are interested I can give you a discount code

    Hope you understand

    Cheers,

    Joe

  • tabs please

  • @joekataldo Gus plays in D standard tuning, he's never used dropped D as far as I now (except maybe for some ozzy tunes). So, most of the things he plays are sound like D but look like E on the guitar. Playing in dropped D like you have is a good way of getting the sound without having to retune the whole guitar, although gus himself rarely uses it.

  • If FIREWIND were playing like these they will still be unknown :P

  • @MatKiller1197 you dont seem to do because this is plain firewind-like

  • @metalhead9838772 this is what i am doing all day

  • @MatKiller1197 what are you talking about...did you ever listened to firewind?

  • @MatKiller1197 what are you talking about...did you ever listened to firewind?

  • the beggining was in the style of as i lay dying the ending sounded a little bit like gus g' s style

  • This is firewind style only for chuck norris

  • @joekataldo But firewind play in D so sorta defeats the object.
