I have an enlarged lymph node right behind my ear but i hope it doesnt get any bigger!
Its only about 1cm across and its smooth and round and yea
If its something else can someone tell me??
My girlfriend is worried to death about it and i want to be sure of what it is

I'm so scared....I have to get a biopsy on a lymph node on my neck right under my jaw...:( I hate needles so much

@ciannawilliams did the doctor tell you that biopsies increase the spread of cancer by a lot?the surgeons know this and its published in their med journals.

Silent alarm--- the best thing you can do is go to the doctor and get it checked out. Could be nothing. There are hundreds of reasons a lymph node could be swollen. It could just be a minor infection but def keep an eye on it. How long has it been swollen?

i had several, but i had 2 really large ones. one in my neck was the size of an orange and then the tumor in my chest was larger than a grapefuit!

i was told not to really shower after my biopsy for a few days, but mine was on my neck, so i just took a bath. with yours being in the groin area, i would check with your doctor.

I was extremely scared as well going into it. You will be sore after the surgery but it heals pretty quickly. Within 2 days I was already feeling better. It's always scary not being sure what you are going into. The one piece of advice I can give you is to accept help from those around you. Don't be stubborn and try to do things yourself! Also, get plenty of rest! Keep me updated and let me know how everything goes! You will get through this!
