  • Thank you for putting this online, This is my favorite version of 'Total eclipse of the Heart'. It seemed when the other Dance video version came out this version completely dissapeared. I always liked this version better!. -Leon (from Sydney, Australia)

  • @LeonBradleyAUS Thanks Leon. This version was widely used in the UK more so than the dance version. Nicki performed at Mardi Gras in Sydney in 2005-some awesome clips on youtube of her performance. Stay tuned for exciting Nicki news and new releases coming soon!

  • ...But the reson y i'm SO confused is because I was just listening to (the 90's version "Backtrax USA" on Z100) they played this version, which i'm not 2 familiar with, but is still excellent (although I'm geared t'wards the original mix)

So is it that they played both the original mix and this mix here in the states?

Is this version the original mix? Cause its says dance mix, meanwhile, the other version sound more dancy lol

  • @Joshua6Tube hey hey thanks for your comments, the video played above was the second vid released by Nicki, it was more popular in the uk and Australia, the first video- the blue ish one with backing vocals was more popular in the USA, however, on the US version of "Secrets" it was the video above version that was featured! On single releases this version is known mainly as "New Radio mix". Hope this helps. Nicki is set to release "In the heat of the night" VERY soon so stay tuned.

  • Thanks for the comments!

  • Perfect! I love...

  • Relevant. Until he totally took back everything.

  • @nickifrenchmusic i'm so dumb, 6 months later n now i FULLY understand (with a little research) lol

    so what ur saying

So ur saying that this version is basically the "New Radio Mix" on Singles (in UK) but here in US it was actually the one on her ALbum Secrets. so here In the US if u wanted THIS version u had 2 buy the album, yet if u wanted the Original Mix u needed 2 buy the single. NOW I GET IT lol

  • Love it!!!!

  • i found it!!! thanks.

  • While Nicki French is a talented singer, neither of her versions of this song can touch the original 1982 version by Bonnie Tyler, orchestrated and engineered by the song's composer, Jim Steinman.

  • @nickifrenchmusic yeah sort of. i didnt understand it when u said that on the: "US version of "Secrets" it was the video above version that was featured!" but Thanx a lot.

  • @nickifrenchmusic Oh So Nicki's Original (dancier) version was played more in the U.S whereas this version was played in the UK more? OMG u know what, i'm 19 going 20 (@ the end of this month) therefore (even with my good memory) I wish i was old enough 2 distinguish which version was played were. I'm aware that discogs' website gives u the details on the CD singles (by country) & vinyls...
