I somehow don't think those PCW's being bounced around in this video would survive that kind of rough handling, not much does. I've seen video footage of these on YouTube and I find it interesting that games were developed for them given that they were supposed to be word processing business computers.
Yes 256 and 512KB RAM BUT!!!! The Z80 could only access 64 KB of RAM at a time ...lame bank switching. I have some cpcs now best basic ever but luck of sprite engine. Only plus models have.

Also it was a PCW...personal Computer word processor. A Computer that was specifically designed for word processing. So yes it was very fast at the time for what it was.
but it was sh*te for games because it had minimal memory reserved for graphics and sound.
Laughable now...but at a time when half the people were still using typewriters or word processors on C64s or 8088s it made a lot of sense to buy this!!

amstrads were cutting edge in there day i always found the coulor pallete on the cpc's were better than the spectrums
