Ive loved his music since the early 70's. A beautiful voice and wonderful lyrics. It's a shame he died so young. I am working up this and On My Own to add to my solo gig. I hope I can do them justice. RIP BW.

sure do miss bw. saw him in his heyday a couple times. great songwriter and vocalist. Wish I could find more vintage bw. this song was actually a michael murphy tune, before he used his middle name. r.i.p. bw.

i loved him, his voice, and his songs. i saw him around austin in the early to mid 70s, every chance i got. but in those days, beer was 50 cents; willie, b.w., michael murphy, jerry jeff, david alan coe - they were all just people who didn't know they were going to be famous someday. it was the best time of my life!
