Texas State Rifle Association Radio Ad. The ad details that even though the Heller decision has affirmed an individual right to keep and bear arms, that the changes that may occur in the Federal judiciary in the term of the next president may have a dramatic effect on what the Second Amendment means. All the "reasonable regulations" left undefined in the Heller case this summer will be decided since litigation filed in the wake of Heller is set to determine many of those key issues, including whether or not incorporation of this basic right goes down to state and local government. If that fight is lost, the Second Amendment will then only apply to the Federal government, leaving states and municipal governments a free rein to take away most, if not all of our gun rights. Gun owners should consider this when casting their vote this year.

TSRA member in Corpus Christi. When will we have a TSRA range here? There should be one in any county that has at least 10,000 members. Lots of compition shooting. Young through old. Small bore to big bore, and shotguns too.

Why don't we have a readers comments section in our magazine? Who is really in charge? I feel let down. Stop giving guns away. And start being an organization with a real foothold... Proud to be a member, but want more from my membership. Ranges are a good start.

Nice professional video. Good job! Please consider producing many more of these. In particular, a segment against a revived Assault Weapons ban may come in handy. It could feature a stock Ruger 10/22, with legal features and not legal features, showing how the exact same gun can be made illegal without changing its actual firepower in any way.

Good ad ... I fear that it won't help, people seem to think that the word "change" has some magic to it, as if every politician since Rome has been promising the same garbage just to get elected ... with a gun, a man is a citizen ... without one, he's just a subject ... don't let it happen here.

The Second Amendment (as well as the rest of the Bill of Rights) does not grant us any rights. These rights are there whether or not the Constitution or the BoR exists. The BoR is the acknowledgement and recognition of our existing rights by the Federal Government. It is up to us to make sure the gov't never starts believing that they have 'granted' us any of our God-given rights.
