Getting that Sundance Catalog "look" is easy to achieve if you know a few tricks. One of them is how to string your beads on stringing wire you normally use and then attaching it to leather or suede. Why be limited by the hole size of your beads? Too many shop customers used to come in and ask, "How do I get the beads on the leather?" Well, you don't...not unless they have big holes. And then that severely limits your choices.

  • Hello Kathy, Diann and anyone else out there who may also be curious about the clasping of this necklace.

I realized after I received your inquiries that I didn't mention in the video that the suede is the clasping mechanism for this particular piece. I used it to tie a bow behind the neck, which gives it a breezy, bohemian feel.

I want to thank you for bringing this to our attention as we are relatively new to YouTube and are grateful for your input. It helps us to be better at what we do.

  • I too was surprised how it stopped before the clasp.

  • That was good so far; but how did you end the necklace? What type of crimp and clasp did you put at the end of the necklace?
