Superpaolo (from Tuttomatto): it's burning, Discomilk Records, Funky Scanner 2011

This is the outcome of an immense work made of multiple collaboration in between musicians, sound engineers, producers and other artists headed by Superpaolo, one half of the Tutto Matto duo.

The first demo of this album have been started in 2003, and from then musicians and musicians layered with patience and great effort, layers and layers of music phrases; among them we have to remember John Mckenzie, legendary bass player from the Earth Wind & Fire section, Alberto Bof an incredible Pianist who has performed with giant names in Jazz such as Wayne Shorter, and Martino Roberts, one of the best bassist in the scene and with an impressive CV without mentioning of course the amazing performance skills and Federico Lagomarsino a veteran drummer coming from Genoa the native place for Jurij and Paolo (Tutto Matto).

Some of the tracks have been produced initially in the Tutto Matto Studio in 2003 from Jurij and Paolo, Going to the Bank is a clear example of this.. the tracks then went on a massive production schedule and in the summer of 2010 Paolo went to Paris to finalize the tracks at the Modern Freaks studios, where Dominique Gauriaud and Jurij Prette Helped Paolo in polishing the tracks and where Martino Roberts and Alberto Bof recorded and arranged additional parts by way of using a plethora of vintage and rare instruments.

On this point it has to be noted that among the many keyboards and rare guitars used, you will be able to hear original '77 Fender Stratocasters, Memorymoogs, CS80's and many other rare and expensive music toys that are profusely used here.

Another important collaboration cames from Groovy Lazy and Super Paolo as to the arrangement of the tracks and the editing; Groovy Lazy is a know Italian Hip Hop producer and contributed to create and edit some parts of the album with great efficiency and a high degree of slills.

There will be a limited physical edition in CD to this album with more exclusive tracks and other edited works which will extend the length of this album to more than two hours.

Definitely it has to be said that this is a work of love and that such an outcome comes from years and years of musicianship applied with care; these ARE NOT DISCO RE-EDITS but ORIGINALLY RECORDED MATERIAL.
