Yeah but he knocked a few out with that kick. iirc. Also see if you can get a video of a kickboxing fight he had where Gary smashed the other fighter up so bad he had to have his jaw wired

Come on. Being a part of any school of Karate will not make you a Master or Champion. It really doesn't matter if you are training Shotokan (which is soooo general name meaning a lot of different approaches), Wado-ryu, Shorin-ryu, Goju-ryu, Kyokushin... Boxing, Judo, Fencing or playing Chess. If you train really hard and you know what level you want to achieve, you'll become a Master. I appreciate the results of all Masters and Champs (like O'Neill). The style is only a background. All are good.

@lobodemar26 my shihan teached us that a good karateka must respect the other styles of karate. and you should learn how to spell kyokushin.
