It depends on the person:)
After 2 and a half weeks the swelling was gone. My surgeon said not to stress its normal:)
It takes time....and the sensation in my gums is getting better....(After 6 months)

how long did it take for the feeling to come back to your face? how long did it take for all the swelling to go away?

good luck bro. i got my surgery date on aug. too bad i couldnt it be sooner. i am having the typical upper and lower surgery to fix my huge underbite. so freaking nervous yet i CANNOT WAIT.

Thats good. I bet you cant wait to do it already. But it will fly by. these youtube videos really helped with my decision to have the surgery. If you watch my videos overall its not so bad, so far, Its only been 7 days. The result is unbelievable and I couldn't imagine these results.
