need to find a song......out about the early 90's and it sampled the monkees at the start of the song.....Here we come walkin down the street.....then it breaks into a guy shouting about how this is a feckin party.....any ideas???

the last sample pete rock n cl smooth...in the beginning before the horns get o, it sounds tottally like the sample from the first black sheep album, dont remeber the song name....but where there are dogs barking in the intro

It is the sample, kind of. "Today" was originally done by Jefferson Airplane on "Surrealistic Pillow". Tom Scott and The California Dreamers released a cover of "Today" a few months later on their album "The Honeysuckle Breeze". It's the cover version that Pete Rock sampled for his classic "T.R.O.Y." (Troy Dixon/Trouble T Roy R.I.P.) The Black Sheep song you mention is "Similak Child", track 9 off of "A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing". Peace.
