  • Filipino Yaw Yan is very similar to Muay Thai, but it has a lot of additional techniques, which muay thai doesnt, like spinnig back fist and straight punches. filipino hybred yaw yan is the MMA style and again, they have borrowed from every other fighting style. it is easily the most complete MMA system i have ever seen.

  • Hey Antonio, have you ever trained in Kali? if not I think you should defiteley make an episode on it!

  • I lived in the PI in the 80's, I had an instructor that would come to my house 3-5 times a week depending on me, he would bring me sparring partners, spar with me, sometimes I would go with him other places and spar, it was awesome, cost me 15 bucks a month. Great attitude too, he said our motto was "born in sparring" and it fit because we did a lot of it.

  • You have about the coolest job of anyone in the world bro.

  • hi antonio, now that you're doing MMA, i'd just like to know how would you compare filipino yaw yan to muay thai? not really on which one is better, but more on technical similarities/differences. thanks and more power.
