@pumpkincontest true...it can be expensive...but Atlas and Kato make some really nice stuff...sure it costs a shiny copper penny, but it works right out of the box and looks fabulous with little work...most already come with magne couplers...trains are for the patient folk who enjoy the little details and like to grow their layouts...cheap trains are for the christmas tree

Toy trains is one hobby you don't want to get into. It gets more expensive all the time and it's all chinese junk! Play poker if you want to waste money!
