RIP Spiros Zagoraios by the way. He was a great singer, as was Panos Gavalas. In Albanian or Greek, a soulful voice is a soulful voice.

@IanHunedoara8 This instrument is used all over the Balkans and Middle East - not just in Greece, though the Greeks have made it central to Greek popular music. Albanians, Bulgarians, Turks, Armenians and Arabs use the bouzouki. Even Irish use it now! I'm Albanian-American with roots in Korca. In our traditions, we have always had bouzouki players at our dances and appreciate both Albanian and Greek popular songs. It's a great instrument which pulls at your heart-strings. I love it.
