I can't believe the ignorance here.

1. Hawaiians are more closely related to Samoans, Tongans, and yes, Maori, than anything else. They have been a State, since 1959 after years as a territory. Yes, a territory, just like Australia was to the British!

2. "Yank" is a term that refers to people from New England, North Eastern United States, or the original colonies.  The term is considered INSULTING to others, like myself, who live nowhere near there, and have nothing to do with the culture.

I used to be the person that thought footballers (American, not soccer) were the best athletes around, now as I've grown older, started to enjoy all kinds of sports, I realize everybody is unique in their talents, if America had a rugby team and played the all blacks, they would get murdered (Just like the MLS All-Stars vs. Man U) and if Europe had a football team and came and played an NFL team, they'd get murdered. Comparing sports just doesn't work. Even comparing them over countries doesn't.

the haka is from marori. so it cant be called hawaiin haka. like the sipi tau is tonga and the samoa have the siva tau.
