This landing took place at the London Gliding Club.

It is by no means indicative of the average landing there but nonetheless provides great entertainment to fellow pilots. Heheh. Also, I have the pilots permission to show this since he is a close relative!

Gliding is a great sport and I'd thoroughly recommend it to any budding pilots.

  • @tjampe I think it's too complicated to explain correctly here ;)

  • @mclchr lol, describe for me how a glider would be able to go arround xD

  • @MrTumnus8896 The field itself is rather smooth although in places it is a bit undulating... It is the oldest gliding club in the UK and has a glider that is twice that size operating from it (largest glider in the UK).

A tounge-in-cheek response would be that the dip he was landing in was caused by many pilots over many years doing exactly what he did in the video ;)

  • well as long as the pilot walked away from it i say its a good landing

  • He should have gone around after the bounce...

  • I also made a landing like this right my first soloflight on a K21

  • any landing you walk out of is a good landing

  • @IkTheNew Almost everyone I know calls the ASK 21 the K21

  • bumpsydaisy lol....

  • any landing u can walk away from is good one
