One of the most ruggedly beautiful alpine lakes in the Selkirk Mountains, Harrison Lake, at the headwaters of the Pack River, offers plenty of rewarding options for scrambling up granite talus to higher elevations for views into key habitat for endangered grizzly bears and mountain caribou. The lake, the second-largest high mountain lake in the Selkirks (Hidden is bigger), is accessible by two trails.

Tom so true - very similar areas we were both backpacking - were you three on the trail just ahead of me? Amazing! Very nice moments you captured of your dad and your wife. Beautiful scenery there, you are most fortunate to have such sights. Thanks for sharing another of your wonderful adventures.
