About 60 or 70 percent of the time that it takes to build a violin is devoted to carving the two plates. They conveniently skipped the plate carving, because they obviously NEVER carved a plate in their entire lives, and merely assemble violins out of pre-made parts.

Guys, I'm sure you worked very hard on this video. Next time, though, I wouldn't show the kid's face while he's playing. He looks like he's trying to have a bowel movement. Just show the violin.
You must understand that no matter how good you are at building instruments, you still both look like you just got out of high school. Right or wrong, people like to think their violins are built by "old masters".
