I caught a westbound UP intermodal passing through Araz Junction, CA on 6/17/10. (This was too long to add to Railfanning the UP Yuma subdivision) This train also had a little bit of a suprise on it, a mid-train DPU! Which is actually pretty uncommon here.

  • PATRICK!!!!!!!!!!! I love this shot dude

  • @trainboy94 Thanks Hunter! I like it too!

  • Sweet Footage as Always Patrick! That center Unit was Wild!! I really liked the end as it was snaking through the turn way out there. Great job man!

  • @bravosixxx Thanks Rob! Yea that center engine was cool. I was pretty suprised to see it! The curve is actually why I chose to film from there.

  • nice video. Where was he heading?

  • @ns927 Thanks! Either west colton, ca or L.A. But most trains that run on this line are intermodals which terminate or originate in the ports in L.A. so most likely it'll be going to L.A.

  • Excellent video!

  • Great video ! I really like the single track operation and the smooth curves weaving thru the desert! Reminds me that I need some double stacks for my collection!
