Dear SeattleGreen, Im sorry that you didnt have success last year with our Mason Bee cardboard tubes. I assume youre in Washington and Ive come to realize that its a lot more difficult to raise Masons in the Pacific Northwest, than it is East of the Rockies.
I found it hard to duplicate my success in Pennsylvania (which you see in the videos), when Ive tried near Tillamook, OR. The reason, I believe, is that Spring comes much earlier in WA and OR -
I used one of your cardboard tube systems last year and found significant parasite problems. It looks like the parasites (wasps, whatever they might have been) very easily chewed from tube to tube. How do you recommend protecting against this?
They are good value kits, but the basic design seems very vulnerable to parasites.
But I offer you excellent reviews for your other garden products. I enjoy your catalog and think your other products are very well made.
