  • @ovaal i am pretty sure it is not over four because they are subdividing each beat into three eight notes so it should be over eight ( i know i am splitting hairs here). i may be mistaken but i am pretty sure it varies quite a bit more than just a one bar phrase

  • I think it's 16/4 (that's how i play it). And you should play that 4 times to get the repeating sequence.

    I count with every chord, i play it like this:

    1,2,3 1,2,3  1,2,3,4 1,2,3 1,2,3 (4x)

    Play a chord on every 1. So 5 chords per measure.

    It's quite hard cause the melody doesn't stop at the end of a measure.

  • The timing never changes in the entire song. The drums just come in.

  • I think the timing is quite easy, but, halfway through it changes. That's the hard part.

  • Apparently its in 16/4 time. I have no idea how to count that out. Its what makes the song brilliant.

  • count it with a measure of 3 and then a measure of 5. The chords are on the following beats in order.... 1, & of 2, 1, 3, & of 4. Just repeat that rhythm sequence
