Live a lovely life Lindy Hop, never heard of you but hey... LOL.
Surely if you were that good you would have been recognised by now. Oh well. :)

And the Choreographer had a very clear idea about what they were doing, trust me.. she is absolutely amazing at dance choreography.

You see the thing is, we aren't professionals, so don't come and chat a whole pile of shit to us.
None of us are professional swing dancers, at first this was choreographed for fun only.
And if you can do better post yourself up on Youtube and lets see how real swing dance is done, otherwise if you can't, don't chat crap.
End of.
BYE!

@Sarella1603 Yeah, that' probably the single worst example you could use. A much better reference would be the swing dance scene in Malcom X which was actually choreographed by an original Lindy Hopper, Frankie Manning.
More so, it would have been better to reference original swing dance footage, like Hellzapoppin (1941), Groovie Movie (1944), the big apple scene from Keep Punching (1939), and the 1950 documentary on swing/jazz dancing: The Spirit Moves

@lindyhop411 looOooOoL!!! THATS EXACTLY WHAT INSPIRED US!! SWING KIDS loOoooOool!!!and we were puttin this together in about 30 minutes !! maybe u come around next time and show us some of ur moves =) we are always open for improvements!! @ steve: THAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@SteveBattPortfolio Well first off, nothing in the video is actually swing. Second, while the dancers are putting 110% behind the choreography, it's just really boring. I have no problem with a choreographer doing something inspired by swing dancing, but this seems more inspired by the background dancing in movies like Swing Kids. Bouncing shoulders and wiggling hips? It's not that hard to learn to do at least some solo Charleston.
Wow that was really horrible. The choreographer really had no idea what they were doing.

@lindyhop411
you seem to be quite passionate about this dance form, which is why i'm surprised to see you putting people off trying it.!!
i'm sure you were not born being great at it. you had to learn, like everyone else. so why put people down for trying something you love ?!? makes no sense to me. far better to encourage them and try to help develop people's skills.
i hope you cheer up soon, and wish you well.
