@MrRobert46 If you want to race friends home from school you won't be happy with the 8 unless you put at least 6k into it. If you want to escape to a mountain road and merge man with machine then you will utterly fall in love with the RX8. When i was 17 I wanted speeeeed, and the STi will give that to you. If that's what you want wait it out and find one that fits the bill.

@MrRobert46 If you're only 17 you shouldn't buy an expensive car, especially if you want it to go fast. At 17 we all know you WILL go street racing, you WILL do stupid stuff, and you may end up wrecking the car. (Anyone over the age of... well in America with it's maturity level.. I'd say over 26 would agree and admit they were like that too.. I sure was). You don't have the experience to handle power yet. Get a cheap car to build up, and get some experience... Then buy something nice. My .02
