  • I need a 35mm film slr camera for my high school photography course.. I was wondering if you know what kind of camera i could get.. preferably the one with manual focus or with auto and manual..

  • @calista1609 Get a Canon AE-1 and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. You will be amazed at what you can acheive with such a camera. You can find it almost anywhere online, used. Ebay, adorama, and bhphoto all have them used.

  • This may be a stupid question, but why would you want film anymore?? I am new to photography so is don't know, and how do you get the pictures from film on your computer?

    nice video.

  • @joeperrrr To have film quality equivalent pictures ona DSLR either requires spending a ton of money on full framed sensor DSLR bodies, like the Canon 5D MK II, or buying a medium format body (Hasselblad). Film is aalalso a good, cheap way to take wide angle shots with lenses that are normally not that wide on a cropped DSLR sensor.

  • Do you think that the Canon EOS a2e (7fps) is good enough for action photography? Specifically skateboarding?

  • Well, I wouldn't do it... I wouldn't because its simply impractical to shoot that fast with a roll of film. I would give it a try, but I would also leave my options open.

  • Those filters weren't even in there cases! (They're probably scratched so much that you can't use them). And, it sounded like all of those lenses were turned onto autofocus when you were turning them. You should treat your equipment with more respect! You've spent so much money on it, so you should be careful with it.

  • Recently got an EOS 3, it's a lovely SLR. It's supposed to be 4fps but it feels like 7. :S

  • @Shleeeed im pretty sure it shoots 7Fps with the grip and 4or 5 without.

  • Does anyone know of a good place on line to send roll for development?

  • instead of buying a lot of crappy lenses why not save up and get just a few good lenses.

  • thanks senior
