Raccoon (Procyon lotor) doesn't use scent posts or mark it's territory with scat, as it uses tactile interpretation (sense of touch) as it's primary sense, not smell or even sight. They tend to deposit their scat & urine at the base of a large climbing tree, but it seems they do this to I've tracked and eaten plenty of raccoon, even raised two as a kid, and never heard of them being a vector for roundworm. That said, sanitation is important, my apologies for not showing that step. Thank you

Those kids are amazing! This is great to see. Just like in the old days. Teach the little ones as soon as they are ready. Way to go guys!

Are those the same day lilies people plant in flower gardens? That have yellow blooms?

@AirsoftAlphaDog Yes, not only are tDay Lilies a great ornamental, their tubers provide an early spring and fall food source and their petals a great addition to your wildcrafted salad in the summer.

@primitiveskills Do they have to be that small or can you harvest off of the large plants too? Can you eat the actual flower?

@AirsoftAlphaDog Yes, the arial parts can be eaten at anytime during their life cycle.
