IMO Lennox is being one of the more dominant HW ever, I would've liked to see him KO Bowe, but he was such a chicken that rather threw the WBC belt in the trash than fight him...

Ruddock my not be at his best after two gruelling fights with Tyson, but to say he is absolutely finished is a lie. Another very "American" reason to take away something from Lewis. Ruddock did KO Phil Jackson and Greg Page before this bout. Ruddock was finished after this fight though.

I've got no idea why Bowe would duck Lewis, especially in 1993, Bowe was much better.

Lennox frighted the crap out of all the heavyweights including Tyson and Bowe at their best. They all ducked him even Tyson paid him off at one time.

lennox got all of tysons beaten leftovers botha,tucker,ruddock.then got a finished tyson who didnt care or train properly but lewis still is an all time great im scottish or from the uk but a 22 yr old tyson kos any lennox lewis.

@expressivechild My man, I never like him, and you're right - it is a shame that he never got over with the American public. But I think Bruno said in his book, that He was a "Canadian hiding behind the UK Flag".

Bruno was schooling Lewis until he got gassed. And I find it just as disturbing that the Brits forgot about Frankie and embraced Lewis. You are right however, no other British boxer acheived as much as Lewis did. He will go down in history, as he should. We just never cared for him.

@09Brant ~ Look at it this way, which other British born boxer have achieved so much in American soil and dominated an era where American heavyweights rule just as the previous eras? He won Gold for Canada because he had to follow his mother, so what's the deal? Its a shame, how people have to wrongfully diss someone without first knowing the facts,,

@09Brant ~ When Lewis beat Tua, American media called it a boring fight. When he beat Holyfield and got robbed, they say Lewis "disappointingly didn't knock Holyfield out". Lewis went to Canada at 12, but chose Britain to turn pro. If that's no patriotism I don't know what is. Still, people claimed he was "not British". Big Frank said that too. After all, anyone would be lying to say Bruno is any better a fighter than Lewis. Its a shame how some Brits choose to discredit him... (continue)

@09Brant ~ Well, in the full video of Ruddock - Lewis, they mention Lewis did lost to Ruddock in the Olympics. And that was Lewis' first amateur loss. He was 15 then, challenging an 18 year old Ruddock because he was too dominant and has no competition. People say Ruddock if "finished" after Tyson, but no one bothers mentioning that when he fought Morrison? Yet, people often talk about Morrison "big win" over Ruddock yet Lewis who fought a better version of Ruddock gets dissed? (continue)
