This video is produced in cooperation with Pluma Production and Musicians for Music for Ecos Latinos series. It shows the beautiful rhythms and voices from the traditional Garifuna culture mixed with Patrice Fisher's composition(Sta Rosa). Recorded in Kenner & New Orleans, Louisiana and Brooklyn, New York.
With them, honduran violinist, Angel Rios. Bodoma Norales and Milton Morales on vocals and percussion. Suyapa Arzu: dancer, Jose Dolmo and Oscar Norales: maraca, Marvin Sebastian: caracol and Santos Rojo: djembe.
This is an effort to bring two cultures together(Garifuna-New Orleans) and enjoy the results of those efforts. We hope that you will enjoy it as well.
