How is it off the line? Does the automatic gearbox give it problems taking off, or is it snappy?

This car is awesome! 6.9 seconds to go from 0-100 and yet it has practically the same fuel economy that the regular 1.4 has. Best of both worlds - I don't know how VW managed to pull it off.

n0d89 - does this car have just a turbo, or a turbocharger AND a supercharger? And does it have an intercooler that is clearly visible? Thanks!

vw polo gti includes. turbocharger ;) supercharger ;) and an intercooler :)

you can see the intercooler at the bottom, maybe i will make a video with pictures :)

You shouldn't do that to a car with only 1000 kilometers on it... The engine is not worked out properly...

0-1000km easy drive..

from 1000-1500km you can drive as fast as you want

after that you can drive as you want ;)

No matter how many times I time this, I can't make it go ABOVE 6,5 sec. The factory spec says 6,9. Wow! This is such a great small GTI :D

@n0d89 I have a 3 y old A4 3.0 TDI with Multitronic(NOT DSG!), I rode with it about 142 000 km till now ;) no problem at all. My friend has a passat 2.0 TDI and he has DSG, at about 60 000 km he became a new one because he ha the second gear damage! second car had another one at 35 000 km so he now drives his second Passat with the fourth DSG gear... and the best of it, he is no speeder... I know why i bourght AUDI and not VW!

@opelhater That's because VW group puts Audi in a high class, look at the price of a A3 and a Golf, everything is the same except the looks and the badge, also everything comes from the same factory and probably designed and build by the same people.
