This show would have been a hit if it hadn't followed the train-wreck that never should have been...Life with Lucy. Can't blame people for needing a break from the tube after that!

Funny that this was cancelled in less than half a season.....a lot of what passes as hit sitcoms on tv now actually doesnt have as good of writing as this....

Harvey Keitel was a guest star on one episode of this show. I've never been able to find his episode,though. Burstyn and Keitel had previously worked together in Martin Scorsese's "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore". Later, they were co-presidents of The Actors Studio in NYC, along with Al Pacino.

It aired on ABC the fall of 1986 Unfortunately, it aired on Saturday nights after the Life with Lucy show and it was cancelled by November. To this day, Ellen does not have nice things to say about her experience with the show and was actually horrified to learn that clips were availible on YouTube when told of it during a recent interview.

Seriously? What happened that has traumatized her to such an extend that she is so horrified? Poor woman.
Then again, these clips are more to treat my fellow Megan Mullally fans, admirer's etc. ^_^ I <3 her. She's so talented.
