Dude I understand you don't care for the golden age lantern... But it's history and the beginning of what came to be what GL is today... and People deserve t know how it really behan! It's showing lack of respect for your s called fav hero if you don't! It's your class and if you want to skip it then alright.. But if were talking Hal Jordan then Alan Scott should be in this class since without him.. Hal would most likely had suck as hard as him... And ppl want to know about the beginning...

Your Enthusiasm for GA is great but you are inaccurate with a couple of things.
Hal doesnt take off Abin Surs costume. One materializes on him.
He also does NOT die in ussue #50.

Read Showcase 22, he does take Abin's costume. He later has it materialise, but in his first appearance, he takes it for Abin. He Does die in issue 50 and subsequently will become the spectre and brought back to his body during GL Rebirth.
