guys guys guys the black hawk is ment for support and transporting the troops from the base to the danger zone so its use for all branches in the us military
@m4ace Are you sure? It makes sense to me, because I've never seen in real footage any marine with a uh-60. What chopper use the marines? CH-46 I guess. But the for air to ground support? And rappelling is not possible in a CH-46. But in some missions it's required
@ Soap10, yes Im pretty sure. You've never seen any Marines jumping off of Blackhawks because the Marine Corps doesn't own any blackhawks. They only have CH-46's and Modern Huey variants for the transport role, not for the air to ground role. The A 2 G role is left up to the Cobra gunships. Also, it is very possible to rappell from a CH-46 via the rear cargo ramp. Just search for some videos on the tube and you'are bound to find some CH-46 rappelling action.
@m4ace Hmm, I guess the Army got better gear then. Because their Uh-60's can do the A 2 G role and can rappel the soldiers. And for more A 2 G support the army has Apache choppers.
