I was lucky enough to get hired as one of the two divers on the Norpac, a 50 foot landing craft supporting a 10" dredge. I have had very little time off so I will answer questions as I can, but if you are interested in any aspect of ocean dredging, mention it to me in a private message and I will try to answer your questions in films if I can. I will be uploading more videos as I have the time. I hope you enjoy watching them.

  • This is probably a silly question, but do you ever get bothered by the Bearing Sea sharks I've seen on documentaries? They appear quite aggressive.

  • @Sodnal

Yeah that girl in the show on Discovery has to stay out of the water 1 week a month, but the sharks don't bother the guys.

  • im very interested in makin my own shoe string dredge boat.. question: is there used dredg boats to bought there?? or should i make my own before coming..any place you know of to find good plans to make a reliable dredge? help with all tips would be greatly appericated.. thanks man

  • @big420bill

There is no such thing as a shoe string Nome dredge. Your best bet is to come up 2 months into the season and buy a dredge that someone else built and are selling because they failed. Failure is high here.

  • Can you show us a clean out?

  • @BoCoMoDave

Sure I'll film a cleanup this summer for you guys.
