Another great listen - there will never be another group like the Four Freshmen - I've said this since 1951 when I was a high school listening to WTTS radio. The very first FF recordings were played at the Indiana University town station. They are as great today as the first group was - but who's comparing they have all been good.

I'm Johnny August (The Four Freshmen Fanatic), and I say Hats Off to the new
guys, who take us right back to 1956
to the "FF" & 5 Trumpets LP. I left a video response of There Will Never Be Another You by myself !

Vince is the under-rated freshmen. I've always thought that he looks and sings the part of a freshmen best of all. He's my favorite. I like to see him get some of the attention that he desires.

Jenny, I wish the recording could have been better too. However, I doubt that I would have been allowed to put a mike onstage. So I did the best I could with what I have.
FYI, this song, but a different arrangement is available on iTunes and on the album Great Gentleman of Song.

The current FF aren't quite as vocally warm as their 1950s predecessors, but are more exciting instrumentally. The original FF were an evident evolution of barbershop music; the current lineup is more a jazz group - I wish it well.

I first saw the FF in 1961-2 while a college student. Then again in the 1988s. Again I had the pleasure in 2008. The harmony is the same, but the instruments are different. I truly loved them ALL!
