The new Fiesta ECOnetic is making its world premiere at the British International Motor Show in London. It is Ford's most economical Fiesta, capable of travelling at 100 kilometres using just 3.7 litres of fuel (some 75 mpg). That impressive fuel economy is matched by a class-leading CO2 output of 98 grams per kilometre --the lowest CO2 in Ford's European range.

  • The Europeans will get a stab at it first. Can't you smell a rat in the United States. We won't be getting the chance to use this car. They want us addicted to oil like usual.

  • Not sold in the U.S. Why?

  • lol ya why?

  • these are the optional cheaper aloys but there are nicer aloys as standard with this car...

  • Because they are light wheels but strong, also they have special low resistance tires that cause less friction so the engine doesn't have to work as hard therefore lowering revs and increasing economy.

  • Why do designers always give 'eco' cars such horrible wheels!?

  • Since its birth in the 1970's the Fiesta has been a car for the people. Great to see a new shape and great to see it pushes the boundries of vehicle technology. Can't wait to see a new ST as well!
