  • do you still have the plans for this? I have the same planer and need to house scroll saw on the opposite side. This looks PERFECT

  • @21blackwood I don't have the plans, sorry

  • Good Jon, thanks.

Where did you get the plans from?

  • I made the plans myself. I saw several videos at Sawmill Creek and went from there. Some of the videos have pretty good details about how the rotation system works.

  • great idea...what hardware did you use?

  • There are brass bushings in the vertical supports and ball bearings in the MDF rotating top. I have a solid steel rod passing all the way through the 36" width. The rod is 5/8" diameter. I bought all the hardware at Lowes. Ball bearings aren't usually used in fliptop carts, but the planer, sander, and 3x 3/4" MDF top weigh over 200 pounds.

  • You should make yourself a pair of shoes in that workshop. Workshop floors can be dangerous to walk on.

  • Very nice! When floor space is at a premium, this beats the heck out of 2 stands!

  • 哈哈聪明
