I love Dir en Grey. I do NOT care what they dress as, what their hair color is or what they feel like writing in their next album. All that I care about is how they PRESENT their music. What Chords they are plucking, what emotions they are feeling while they write their music. By all means post your comments but use accurate musical judgment. Don't post because you don't like this music. People need a bitch slap to understand music does not revolve around them. It loves the masses. A=E

I feel you. I love this band even years before I started to look up translations. I fell in love with the feel. It's amazing. I do get crap about being labeled as a "fan girl" and while they may be attractive, I'm not one to drool over famous people. It's that strong feelings I get from their music that I love, I've decided not too look up translations anymore. I just want listen and see what I feel.

Why are people hating each other?What does it matter which way you love them? Everyone has the right to love them even if it is extremely annoying.I came across them through the popularity of Japanese culture,yes.I was curious about the japanese music.I listened to the albums.And i love them.Visual kei was good, but now they are better.And yes,i'm a girl.I loved anime.Does this make me the typical fangirl?Either way i don't care about it.I love their music.First their music then anything else.

Yeah, dude. I have been a fan for over ten years now and have always dug their music. I give them credit for getting me into the Japanese Indies scene where THANKFULLY you do not have these type of "anime fans" who gush over the band's appearance. I stick by the band because they have always made quality music and sometimes I feel sorry for them because no matter how hard they try to distance themselves from their visual roots it will always follow them no matter what they do.

I have to admit, I find myself drooling over the band some days, but my love for the band isn't entirely physical. Yes, I love anime. Yes, I fangirl sometimes. But, the music is what really drew me into the band. The first songs I heard from them, I had no idea what they looked like. But I fell in love with Kyo's voice. It sounded... So sorrowful. Why are all of you so worried about fangirls? Sure, they can get annoying, but just ignore them if they bother you so much. Just soak up the amazing music that Dir en grey plays, and dont let little things get to you. We all love their music, and can agree on at least that 1 thing. Dont be so fixated on fangirls. When i go to see Diru live, ill be giving them my 100% attention and focus. Im not going to be looking at/bitching about fangirls. I probably wont even notice them. You shouldnt either.
