It's a F-4F yes, but normaly the german Luftwaffe has it's Tornados in Goose Bay.
And in the next Years the old Phantom will be replaced by the EF-2000 Eurofighter Typhoon.
Wich brings the german Luftwaffe back on the Top of the Airforces in the World.
Excuse my bad english, but I'am from germany and so I doesn't speak it that well

jop with the eurofighter we can defeat a f22 in dogfight .. until today it was the best airplane .. sry but iam also german so bad language:D:D

It is from a Phantom, because I got this movie right after the JG 74 Goose Bay Trip. And they fly Phantoms.
