I took the RoverBot out for some rough terrain testing at a newly built desert landscaped park. It performed OK on terrain where the rock size did not exceed the wheel size.
It really does need bigger wheels and an accelerometer.
I'd also like to move the battery closer to the CG and build a new all aluminum chassis
what do you plan to use this for? it's a great machine.

I build robots to learn about them, to experiment with different platforms and controls and just to have fun creating and making a thing.
I hope to find work in the robotics field so all this stuff will be a sort of resume. :)
