New integrated advertising campaign for Visit Wales launched 14 January 2009, created by Wieden + Kennedy London and Partners Andrews Aldridge. The campaign focuses on a key step change in the way people approach their holidays these days and is designed to start a new holiday movement, which Visit Wales have coined holidays unpackaged.

In response to some of you not all us English slag off Wales.

I am from Derbyshire which like parts of South Wales was once a proud mining community. I also live close to the Peak District which in many ways is similar to Snowdonia.

I have spent many happy weekends North and Mid-wales and met many lovely interesting people along with the odd fruit-loop. Which I guess you would find wherever you go. Not everyone in England has the opinion of Wales that are listed below.

It really pisses me off when people slag wales off!

Just cus we are welsh doesn't mean we are dull or we shag sheep or we are alcoholics or or we are ugly!

I for one am proud to be welsh. It's better than being a stuck up tarty Essex slut walking around in mini skirts and Really high high heels.

Some amazing people come from wales. Rhod Girlbert, Tom Jones, Charlotte Church.

Then look at People Like Amy Childs or Jedward Or Justin Bieber, Those people are annoying.

People who slag Wales off are usually unimaginative wankers who only know package holidays where everything is planned for them and spend the whole trip sat by a hotel pool giving themselves skin cancer. Long live Wales, it's an amazing country rain or shine.
