I absolutely agree to your comment ! My Argent favourites always were Circus, Counterpoint and Nexus
(Albums from 1974 and 1975) though basicly all their music is fantastic. Hail to the SEVENTIES !

Marvellous stuff, I've always loved this song. I picked up Circus cheap many years ago and its sad that such great music is only appreciated by an enlightened minority.
I used to love The Zombies also and they too were always underrated. The common thread is of course Rod Argent who I believe to be one of the great keyboard players.
Just listen to his marvellous solo on the extended version of Hold Your Head Up.
