I've read shakespeare, Lewis carrol, h.g.wells, France and his isle of pingouins and his rebellion of angels. I've read Lautréamont les chants de maldoror, i've went so far as to read Moby dick and voyage au bout de la nuit. I thought there was going to be no innovation in language. Now I can say proudly that i was wrong. Everything about Dalek is great; the title is a Serbo-Croatian word which means "far, distant" ; these poeple thought before they wrote. A thing sadly forgotten today by many.
