How should I know? Am I a cosmologist?
I just know we have a reasonably precise model, the Big Bang model. This model explains the existence of the Universe and how Earth formed.
The model also answers all questions that we asked today regarding mass, gravity, matter, etc. It does not answer one question: what happened before the Big Bang and whether this is a valid question.
So just because we don't know something 100%, does that justify the invention of all the gods?
