(I just sort replace it in my mind with the gods or something LOL)
But the beat to this song is really awesome.

While the references to Christianity are present, they are almost certainly included some several hundred years after the origins of the song, mostly at the insistence of the Catholic Church sometime shortly after Constantine did his thing. The original lyrics almost certainly mentioned other Powers instead, since soul cakes were a tradition far older than Judaism, much less Christianity.

Honestly, I don't have much problem with the Christian God, just the majority of His followers these days.
