If that sounds like I'm being down on this game I should point out that given the limited options tank sim fans have it's still worth buying as it can be very atmospheric at times and there's some good combat to be had. But it's a shame they couldn't have polished it a bit more and made it essential!

..didn't load. The sounds are messed up with some extremely loud bird song (and the birds still sing even when 8 tanks are firing in the area!) but main gun firing can be almost silent sometimes. The map seems to be nearly impossible to understand and awkward to move around, what was wrong with the way Flashpoint did it? And visual damage and effects are poor. There's no shake when you fire the gun and often not much sense that your shots are even hitting.

What the hell? I posted a comment and it vanished! OK so once again..I'm not sure why it's taken 2 years for this to arrive in Europe looking identical to this video. My experience of the game is that it's quite a nice simulation of tanking with some quite nice battles but many problems. For one they forgot to include the gun sight in the german tanks in the UK version! That shows a shocking lack of basic testing already. Also I've completed a mission only to be stuck because the end screen...

I don't suppose you could tell me how u got hold of your Russian copy of T34 vs Tiger?? Was it via the net? Am eager to get my hands on this game and i can't wait for the Euro release!! How impatient am i?? Thanks v much..

I already bought the Russian version of T34 vs Tiger. It's good, but only 6 missions per side, and they are scripted... To the extreme. No replayability.
I can tell you this after seeing this video: The physics in Steel Fury are better.
