African Union blasts western intervention, backs Gaddafi

Libya is not an "Arab" country, it has a population that speaks Arabic. It is an African country.

@AfriSynergy Libya is an Arab country in Africa; the mass of the population are ethnically Arab, they speak Arabic, their culture is Arabic. In this way it is similar to Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt. Next door to Libya are countries like Chad, Mali, Niger which are also Muslim but ethnically and culturally African, although they do predominantly speak Arabic. Other Muslim countries in Africa like Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan ect do not speak much arabic and instead have their own languages.

Thanks for the comment. However, Libya is exactly what you are saying it is. Yes, they speak Arabic but Libya has aligned itself with Africa for a very long time and less so with Arab states. This is one of the reasons why the Arab League wanted to get rid of the Gaddafi government. The systematic targeting of blacks and Berbers by mixed breed Arabs and NATO will have some very bad repercussions from this day forward.

From my understanding of the situation in Libya, Libya left the Arab League and joined the African Union in complete solidarity and financial support. The western news agency's our bought and paid for and only report that which will support a re-colonization of African countries and their natural resources. Libya is handling family business and the U.S. hypocritical government wants to set up a military base in Libya near it's oil wells and for Africom. President Obama is being used by Zionist.
