Roman arch:
Consisting of ice keystone and 32 identical concrete blocks, the arch explores the average human body height of 5 - 10 7/8. Throughout the process of casting concrete blocks, each block was visually analyzed in its properties of concrete mixture and altered in composition if needed in order to have produced an improved subsequent block. Averaging with 80 pounds of concrete and 4.68 liters of water, each complete casted concrete block encompasses the human body height through assembled arch. In addition, the ice keystone, which served as a crucial point in the arch, emphasizes the relationship between the local weather and structural integrity of ice as a building material.

The ice block consisted of 17.5 liters of water was created using the same mold sealed with calk. The water was kept at a steady temperature of -30°C for 80-hour period in the industrial chest freezer.
