Metallic vs. Shimmer Textures with Coastal Scents Hot Pots and 88 palette

Hi everyone. I hope you will find this helpful as I have gotten so many requests to review the metallic and shimmer textures/ finishes and to offer my opinion as to why the palettes and pots would be offered to everyone. It is a matter of convenience for all customers. Personally, I adore the pans for everyday life because I like to arrange them in their palettes the night before work. I use my larger palettes when I am in a hurry and haven't prepared, need to get ready elsewhere and I keep two of those palette in my kit (neutral and matte/satin). I also love the larger ones when I sit down and have no idea what I want to do and I just stare at all of the colors to make a decision. The palettes are also perfect for saving space if you want all of the colors and wish to try all of the colors in all of the finishes. It is a matter of preference and both work well.

The eyeshadows were provided by Coastal Scents, but as I have said many times I was ordering from them long before I ever thought about picking up a camera. I remember my first orders being there brushes and I would generally place orders once every month and sometimes every two weeks as I was discovering I didn't need to pay crazy amounts for brushes even with my MAC discount, it still wasn't worth it at times.I always loved that my brushes were wrapped in pink tissue paper and would always get a free eyeshadow sample. CS had no idea who I was at that time and I didn't know CS very well...my service was the same them and the shipping has always been so fast. One day I ordered brushes and received them in two days when my order was placed after hours the first day. That hasn't changed either. Ok, enough...I will let you guys go get ready for your beautiful weekend!

Hi Jenn, yes, I would like to see a vid on layering and mixing the different textures, that would be great! I just checked CS website and they have several new items since I last looked. I see bronzer compacts, lip & brow quads, makeup pencils and some other new items. Hope you have some of the new items. Can't wait to see your reviews!! @goode2shuz1 Excellent. I have taken a little YouTube vacation after some family illness and a family member passing away, but I will be back this weekend and starting my videos and updating my blog. I have the CS items you mentioned and today I used one of the lipliners (so precise, but soft) as my lipstick with gloss over it. I will be using them. Thanks so much:)

@customanimalart I agree, i do own a few mac products, but for the price i rather CS, but like you I get a little anxiaty with the color overload. I've been a fan of emily noel for a while and she is great too. I like those who use other affordable products.
