I've seen both versions, and I just have to say the Steppenwolf version of the trailer just WORKS better, even if it's shorter.. There's something gritty & rougish about "Magic Carpet Ride" that fits so well with Traveller - as well as the fact that they're both very '70s. :) Makes me think of the spaceman from Allen Steele's book "Orbital Decay" listening to Grateful Dead as he assembles a space station.

Was their an accompanying song to this? I like the other trailer more, one because it's longer, and two I like the music accompaniment. They are both simply fantastic. Thank you for making Traveller come alive. :-)
