**** From THE PHILIPPINE GUITAR ****
My Country - A song/piece for all generations as long as the Philippines is still bound in chains - foreign and domestic. My high school, Pasig Catholic College, was fiercely activist in the 80s. I was present at the EDSA Revolution and we sang this song to the hilt before and after Marcos fled. It's quite ironic and sad to think that after all that, I still ended up living in "exile" and connecting to the Philippines only through music. Anyway, I sight-read this as a filler piece while thinking about what to study next. I'm not sure why the audio is noisy, but it may be because I've been using the camcorder for capturing audio recently instead of my DR-07.
